President of Corporate Affairs and Community Relations

Serving as the President of Corporate Affairs and Community Relations for Victory Sports Complex, Thompson will play a critical role, spearheading business strategy and corporate growth opportunities for Victory Sports Complex and the Victory Sports brand portfolio. In a dual-role, Thompson will be the Victory Sports community relations liaison. The community liaison will be point-of-contact that will lead all community-related communication efforts, special event programming, corporate meeting space management and corporate events. Thompson will align Victory Sports corporate business initiatives and vision, with surrounding organizations, non-profits, residents, plus local/regional/national businesses.

For 20 years, Thompson has applied and proven an expertise in the areas of business operations development, risk management, insurance categories, vendor management analysis and investor relations. Skills as a leader with progressive, clear understanding of business development and organizational concepts, Thompson has been effective in a variety of business sectors through his professional career. Experience involving corporate banking and brokerage firms, has enhanced Thompson’s working knowledge of corporate structure, both internally and externally. Thompson has had the fortunate opportunity to work for major corporations, such as Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns, Northwestern Mutual and The Bank of Princeton respectively, which demonstrates Thompson’s wide-ranging knowledge and experience

Thompson’s roles as a community leader is impressive. Thompson has led projects which enabled him to serve on local community Boards, the Board of Advisers for City College School of Business, Everest University Advisory Council and Princeton Youth Board.

Thompson’s athletic background includes, the College of New Jersey and Mercer County College, where he played football and basketball, respectively. Thompson also played quarterback in a Semi-Pro football team in Philadelphia.
